The Storytelling Lab (Pracownia Opowieści) is a project of the Active Communications Society, planned for the years 2013-2016, an innovative, long-term, complex artistic and educational programme which aims at renewing the culture of storytelling. What’s crucial for the whole project is deepening of the social relations through the exchange of existential experience and through the expression of individual and collective creativity. The project participants are to collect, recreate and tell the stories of streets and neighbourhoods of the places they know and live in. To do it, we have organized workshops during which professional storytellers are helping (with the use of different techniques) to free personal narrations and record what is passing – the experience of oneself, of the family, friends and neighbours.
My responsibility was to combine their works into one book and to design the cover and layout. That is how the edition of „Każdy miał prawo wstępu” (Everyone had the right to enter) has come to life.
