Collaborative Shadowbox with Marion BOLOGNESi
It was my pleasure to work with Brooklyn-based watercolor virtuosa Marion Bolognesi on this custom-built shadowbox painting. Marion began the process by painting one of her signature hyper-realistic expressionist watercolor portraits on paper. I then created one of my enamel on perspex paintings according to her composition, and the two layers were then combined in a custom-engineered shadowbox designed and built by master woodworker Aurelio Bolognesi.
