In un certo momento della mia avventura artistica, ho avvertito la necessità di avvicinarmi ai soggetti da dipingere, trascurando la visione d’insieme per dedicarmi, invece, al particolare. Ciò che mi interessa descrivere in questa serie di opere è la percezione degli oggetti più che gli oggetti in sé; i dettagli intangibili, i colori impossibili da notare se non zoomando al massimo l’obiettivo. Si tratta, in definitiva, di un procedimento a ritroso per raggiungere una visione astratta della natura. Da qui è nata la serie di dipinti intitolata “Secret garden”, il giardino segreto.
In questo mio percorso, sentendo la necessità di enfatizzare la materia di ciò che sto dipingendo, ho deciso di utilizzare, contrariamente al mio solito, diversi medium espressivi come l’olio, il legno, il lino, la ceramica che mi permettono di ottenere quella grana, quelle rugosità nella superficie in grado di descrivere al meglio questo mio piccolo mondo interiore.
Questa ricerca, questa serie di opere ha segnato un punto importante nella mia esperienza pittorica perché mi ha consentito di fermarmi e guardare dentro di me per ridefinire gli obiettivi e gli argomenti della mia avventura artistica. Passare dal generale al particolare ha comportato un approccio completamente diverso alla mia pittura, abbandonando l’aspetto più figurativo in favore di uno più gesturale, espressionista e, spesso, calligrafico. Attraversando il mio giardino segreto prosegue la mia ricerca di forme, colori e textures. E’ un cammino, soprattutto interiore, alla scoperta di me stesso e dei miei ricordi che si manifestano come frammenti di cose: fiori, foglie, arbusti, rami, cieli limpidi o burrascosi, prati e boschi profondi. Un giardino incantato dove accedere nei momenti di bisogno quando, stanchi dei rumori della vita quotidiana, si sente la necessità di estraniarsi e volare più alto.

In a certain moment of my artistic adventure, I felt the need to get closer to subjects to paint, neglecting the big picture to devote myself instead to detail. What interests me describe in this series of works is the perception of objects rather than the objects themselves; intangible details, colors unnoticeable if not zooming to the maximum the goal. It is, ultimately, of a backward procedure to achieve an abstract view of nature. Hence it arose the series of paintings entitled “Secret Garden”, the secret garden.
In my path, feeling the need to emphasize the matter of what I’m painting, I decided to use, contrary to my usual, different expressive mediums such as oil, wood, flax, ceramics that allow me to get that grain, the roughness in the surface can describe this my little inner world.
This research, this series of works marked an important point in my painting experience because it allowed me to stop and look inside myself to redefine the objectives and topics of my artistic adventure. Move from the general to the particular involved a completely different approach to my painting, abandoning the more figurative aspect in favor of a more gestural, expressionistic, and often calligraphy. Crossing the My Secret Garden continues my research of shapes, colors and textures. It ‘a path, above all interior, to discover myself and of my memories that manifest as fragments of things: flowers, leaves, twigs, branches, clear skies or stormy, meadows and deep woods. An enchanted garden where access in times of need when, tired of the noise of everyday life, you feel the need to alienate and fly higher.
