The following project is about rebranding the Playstation 4 as if it was a decade before and was released by Nintendo. Specifically, i tried to use the materials and the feel that i remember since i was young when i had my first contact with a gaming console the Nintendo (SNES). I kept the modeling of the new PS4 and replace the materials of the nintendo giving a bit of retro and nostalgic feel. I remember the hard and cheap plastic feel colored in off white and grey colors which i used for the most surfaces of the console and the controller, the "rubber" material which was placed in the start and reset button and i use it to materialize the dual analog sticks. Finally, the sneak pick was the decals and the details that are printed in the off white plastic with a dark grey color, the colourful buttons in the controller and the crimson-red light on the console.
As for the technical part, i used Fstorm (Free release) and 3ds max in a single gtx1070, pretty fast and smooth everything was friendly even thought it was the first time I used Fstorm. All the renders are straight out of Fstorms FrameBuffer with no post. I really enjoyed GPU rendering so later on Ill try a more complete version of Fstorm. Cheers!
