The Turkish Aviation Museum in Istanbul ( İstanbul Hava Kuvvetleri Müzesi Yeşilköy ) is the only surviving copy of the Polish PZL P.24 fighter . In Turkey, Kayseri plants Tayyar 
e Fabrikası produced on a total of 40 licenses Polish PZL P.24 , versions P.24A and P.24C . In 1939 several of these machines rebuilt to version PZL P.24G . Presented at the museum aircraft clearly shows the version of the P- 24G with the French engine Gnome -Rhone 14N power of 970 hp . Aircraft PZL P -24 was a very important stage in the history of Turkish aviation as it was the first modern construction militant produced in this country . The aircraft remained in combat units of the Turkish aviation from 1937 until 1943 , last PZL P -24 was withdrawn from service in 1945. 
The museum is located in the southern part of the international military airport name Atatürk . Another Polish construction presented in the museum is the PLZ -104 Wilga 35A , located in the outdoor exposure in front of the hangar .
