I was hired by Imagination to produce the Robot DJ segment of the Ford Go Further Show in Cologne. I worked with DJ Yoda to teach an ABB “Yumi” Robot to scratch DJ for a live battle, a world first. The scope of my role was wide and included everything from defining the set with Yoda and interpreting it into a clear programming brief, prototyping 3D printable robot “fingers” that could scratch on Serato decks, securing music rights, creating LED video wall motion content, live show calling and briefing the broadcast Director on filming requirements.
