I am The Bluff (Card game)

For my last project in University, I decided to work on something a bit different from my classmates. I believe that UI/UX isn't all about digital interfaces and I wanted to work on something more physically interactive. I decided to create a new game. I started of researching what kind of games my target audiences was into, and found that psychological games were popular amongst young adults. So therefore I decided to create a bluffing game. Through researching about game design, I've learnt that it is better to "Fail faster" by prototyping and play testing than to continuously work on an idea without play testing, as it is hard to assume what players will do and enjoy. The third picture above is a gathering of all my prototypes and failures of my journey to my final design. I spent most of my time prototyping and play testing, but I also had to work on the visual aspect of it. The game mechanics is like the User Experience, and it would be hard to enjoy that without good User Interface design. Therefore I also had to work hard on the visual aspect as well, creating a suitable and easy to use design.
