I've struggled with my cultural identity as Chinese American. Now that I'm away from my family I feel even more separated from my culture. One of the ways I try to close this gap is through food. I have illustrated one of the Chinese dishes that I miss from home.
My Pantry
Since I arrived at MICA, I have become more aware of my disconnect between myself and my Chinese heritage. My pantry shows my desire to reconnect to my family and my culture.
