GARAGE / I stumbled upon this garage in Nashville, an ugly derelict building that is made cool by the block capital signage perched on top. BUY PRINT
RED LIGHT / The city of Hamburg is a truly unique place. This is the Reeperbahn area and I thought that taking the shot from the perspective of the gutter was quite fitting.
BULLRING, BIRMINGHAM / Focus on a section of a building and the patterns can be mesmerising.
DURHAM SILHOUETTE / If you haven't visited the great city of Durham then stop what you're doing right now and go. The cathedral is on a scale so grand that the mind boggles.
THROUGH THE TREES / When you visit Durham make sure you walk up, down and around the winding streets. Every now and again you are rewarded with spectacular views.
BRUTAL / Sharp angles, straight lines, patterns, shadows and lots of concrete. Brutalism in all its beautiful, ugly glory.
WORSHIP / Nashville quickly became one of my favourite cities. I loved the contrast of culture, how the office workers tower above honky tonks and places of worship.
WHEN IN NEW YORK / Been there, done that, got the photo.
FULL OF FRUIT / Fill the frame with fruit and the colours do all of the work for you.
SPANISH STYLE / Spotting patterns in Madrid and breaking the pattern by allowing the neighbouring building to creep into shot.
CAT EYES / There's something hypnotic about cat eyes, get close for maximum impact.
PATTERNS IN CONCRETE / Curved windows framed by perfect squares. I love when modern architecture is on a scale large enough to fill the frame with retro patterns.
WELCOME TO BRUSSELS / Step off the train at Brussels Central and you get an idea of what architectural delights await you. Walk around the city and discover that there is a vibrant tapestry of design to discover.
VINYL / Nostalgic, colourful and tactile in a way that Spotify can only dream of.
