Employee Safety Training

I created a Training Needs Analysis prior to designing this project to better align the multimedia safety training course.
The first asset I used was a video that gave examples of workplace risks. Some of the pictures came from our campus. This part of the safety training project was the least difficult.
I designed a video that uses scenes from around our campus. It shows costs of workplace accidents, caused by human error and helps define the protective gear needed to create a safe working environment. The picture below was taken of a worker using an electric saw with no protective eye gear, and his fingers close to the saw.
This interactive infographic provides the new employees a chance to see policies at a glance. It was designed for new hires to define their personal liabilities and know what to do in case of workplace hazards. The infographic is user friendly and has videos that were taken on the campus of Thornwell. This part of the project was the most fun. I got to walk the campus with a camera and add silly videos to help relay the message of safety on the job.
The is a fun interactive game that will take the new employees through a series of easy to tough questions. This game was designed to define the roles of the Occupational and Health Administration and the Environmental Protection Agency to ensure safe work environments. This seemed to take the most time and energy. I had to come up with twenty-five, simple to complex questions.
I wanted to use this as my interactive game but it was more like an end-of-course quiz, so I decided to use it for that.
