Nikola Tesla Typographic Portrait
Some type of sub-title
Considered a mad scientistby the end of his career as an inventor, electrical and mechanical engineer, Nikola Tesla led a prolific life that provided significant contributions to the 2nd Industrial Revolution. His inventions were often ahead of their time or overshadowed by Thomas Edison. However, his discovery of alternating current (AC) became the North American standard in the early 20th century. To commemorate Tesla’s patents and contributions, SPARK Museum of Electrical Invention (formerly the American Museum of Radio and Electricity) is offering a new electricity exhibit. The centerpiece of the show is a dramatic 9-foot Tesla coil that generates a miniature lightning storm. Yet the display needs a unique image of Tesla to help tie the show together and give the audience a visual of the man behind the machine. This Tesla type portrait will be displayed for educational purposes to families, students, tourists, journalists and travel writers as part of the exhibit.
