"DESIGN IS FUCKING CHEAP AND CALENDAR IS FREE"
A LOOK BACK TO MOVE FORWARD…
------------
The overdue payments and days in JANUARY are "real".
FEBRUARY is set in landscape, subtly hint by the broken heart ideogram “</3”. The calendar is divided by a 7 x 5 grid; the black square block (bottom left) is actually 31Jan [Sun] and the rectangle (top right) are the days of march, therefore “</3” falls right into the fourteenth invisible block, the second Sunday, the Valentine’s Day, the mindless days punctuated by "heartbreaks”.
The fourth of JUNE is missing as in a form of political satire to the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989 in Beijing.
The HTML code tags are 100% authentic, the URL in the last line will take you to the online version of JULY.
DECEMBER is the copy of a chinese almanac calendar, the design blurb — “Everything’s a copy of a copy of a copy” is excerpt from the movie “Fight Club” whilst “The Narrator” (Edward Norton) was using the office photocopier.
