This work was created specifically for the DROP exhibition.
Association PBK9 organizes a selection of works for the DROP Exhibition.
The event will be held on the 1st and 2nd of May 2010 in Lausanne, Switzerland. This street art exhibition will take place in the old mechanical workshops, presently remodeled as the Arsenic theatre. The exhibition will be coupled to an evening show organized at the Romandie club; a club which was selected for its architecture and its urban atmosphere. The show will also be organized by our PBK9 association and will introduce the audience to an international panel of different disciplines such as Graff, collages, paintings, art toys and VJing.
According to technical requirements graphic work was made in 100% black color. It was an interesting experience for me.Why only black and white? Because the contrast represented by limiting the two extremes of urban graphics language facilitates the access to its essence.
I used a gel pen and ink in my illustration. Real size A0. I was working on my illustration several days. I used digital processing and bitmap color (only 100% black) to finalize illustration.
This work about city life. It shows a mad city rhythm, parties, music, motion and emotion.
That is all surround us in the big city streets every night and every day.
