This is my final project for my first semester. I created this project using Adobe Photoshop. This project is a symmetrical project. What I did was take the pictures that I shot when we went to the downtown field trip, cut out the pieces I wanted using the Pen Tool, and reflected them either horizontally or vertically. When I put all of the pieces together I had created a boat. I later googled a picture of clouds that were under png and added them into my background. After that I used a website that helped me create the portrait background I have. In this project I learned how to use the Pen Tool, the Burn & Dodge Tool, and the Healing Tool. I also learned how to create symmetrical lines through the objects and how to create shadows on the objects. I had a harder time creating the shadows on the objects because the it would get to dark on some spots that I couldn't control. I felt most successful putting all of the symmetrical pictures to create the boat itself.
