At the beginning of 2016 I have been recommended by Silvia, with whom I collaborated in the past for a calligraphy workshop, to Laurent Couderc, editor-in-chief for Regard, a francophone journalism magazine. It was the first time I heard about Regard, and I have been recommended as an illustrator for the magazine's covers, so, back then, I have been taken aback a bit. The first cover was the most difficult, but it proved to be the beginning of a beautiful and fruitful collaboration.
Regard is a quarterly magazine with beautiful articles (written in French) and striking photography. It also publishes as a large format freely distributed newspaper, with articles from the magazine translated into Romanian.
My job was to design covers for both the magazine and the newspaper.
