This is the Map installation for the RiverKeeper Stewardship Park in Guerneville California. While studying at the SRJC, a professor had students submit work to the Russian River Watershed Project in order to be chosen to design a Map for a newly created park alongside the Russian River in Guerneville California. Extra Credit was offered. Out of all the students in the class who applied for the job, I was chosen to design the Map. The Map was designed primarily in Adobe Illustrator using an old Intus Wacom Tablet. Many if the visual elements such as trees and other foliage were drawn by hand using Fabre-Castell brush tipped fine art pens, before being scanned and recreated as vector based images in Illustrator. Only original artwork created by myself was used in this project.
