What do we know about foreign countries’ design and especially the poster development through the years? Do we care? Should we? I think we should, because posters depict the economical, political, social, cultural, historical and artistic circumstances.
This is my thesis project. It is a magazine that is published every year and each issue talks about the poster development in every country. The first issue is referred to the post-war poster development of South Korea. I decided to begin with South Korea because I am fancinated with the korean culture.

The idea behind the magazine’s identity is to create a simple and neutral character, that can easily fit into each country’s design. For the campaign Ι concentrated on the magazine’s international direction and on the the fact that it is focused on poster design. So I used the translation of the word “poster” in many random languages.
