Less is more
There are too many things in the world. We need to either make do with fewer things, or make things do more.
We can do this by combining many functions into one product. Play Pack is first a food package, second a toy. And, while some toys should last a long time, many do not need to. While Play Pack's carton packaging may not be as durable as plastic, the technology embedded into it allows a greater flexibility when paired with other smart technology.
Example of a Pokémon egg incubator for Pokémon Go
Augmented reality anchors
An augmented reality anchor printed inside the package enables a mobile application to project objects in and around the package using the camera of the device.
Interaction through NFC
NFC stickers enable the user to interact with the package (or rather the object imagined in or around the package) through the application. Possibilities for different kinds of functions are nearly limitless.
Opportunities for brand integration
Brand licencing in children's products is commonplace, but is mostly limited to appearances.
Play Pack Makes enables this integration to be used to greater effect, to create fresh experiences while making no additional waste.
