The Portrait of Mr. W.H.
In Oscar Wilde’s ‘The Portrait of Mr. W. H.’ the author dissects Shakespeare’s sonnets for evidence as to the identity of the illusive 'Mr. W.H.'; to whom the poems were addressed. These paintings and artefacts aim to reconstruct the identity of W.H. and unravel the conspiracy behind one of the most prolific homosexual relationships in history.
