This project is a tribute to my favorite print magazine BOLSHOI, I have drawn 
a series of covers over several years for. Due to the political and economic 
Belarusian crisis 2020-2021 the media announced its closure.
Alisa Selezneva aka Ex Machina

Alisa Selezneva is the main character of the series of children's science fiction books by Russian writer Kir Bulychev. The series, unofficially referred to as 'Alisa's Adventures' was started in 1965 and comprises more than 50 novellas and short stories, of which many were adapted to film, television, comics and video game. Alisa franchise is a Russian pop culture phenomenon with popularity not fading for nearly half a century.

Jacques-Yves Cousteau​​​​​​​

Jacques-Yves Cousteau, AC (11 June 1910 – 25 June 1997) was a French naval officer, explorer, conservationist, filmmaker, innovator, scientist, photographer, author and researcher who studied the sea and all forms of life in water. He co-developed the Aqua-Lung, pioneered marine conservation and was a member of the Académie française. Cousteau described his underwater world research in a series of books, perhaps the most successful being his first book, The Silent World: A Story of Undersea Discovery and Adventure, published in 1953. Cousteau also directed films, most notably the documentary adaptation of the book, The Silent World, which won a Palme d'or at the 1956 Cannes Film Festival. He remained the only person to win a Palme d'Or for a documentary film, until Michael Moore won the award in 2004 for Fahrenheit 9/11.

She has received a number of accolades, including being nominated for a record 21 Academy Awards, of which she has won three, and a record 33 Golden Globe nominations, winning nine.

Svetlana Alexievich

Svetlana Alexandrovna Alexievich is a Belarusian investigative journalist, essayist and oral historian who writes in Russian. She was awarded the 2015 Nobel Prize in Literature 'for her polyphonic writings, a monument to suffering and courage in our time'. She is the first writer from Belarus to receive the award.

Goran Bregović

Goran Bregović is a Bosnian and Yugoslav recording artist. He is one of the most internationally known modern musicians and composers of the Slavic-speaking countries in the Balkans, and is one of the few former Yugoslav musicians who has performed at major international venues such as Carnegie HallRoyal Albert Hall and L'Olympia.

Max Mirnyi

Maksim Mirnyi is a Belarusian former professional tennis player.
Mirnyi became a doubles specialist following his singles career, in which he reached a career-high of World No. 18 (August 2003) and finished in the top 50 in the world for seven straight years despite only winning one ATP singles title (2003 Rotterdam Open). He represented Belarus in Davis Cup competition from April 1994, where he holds a record of 47 wins and 27 losses in 35 ties played. He reached the World No. 1 doubles ranking in June 2003 and won ten Grand Slam titles: Men's Doubles in the 2000 and 2002 US Open and the 2005, 2006, 2011 and 2012 French Open; and mixed doubles in the 1998, 2007, and 2013 U.S. Opens and 1998 Wimbledon.

At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, Mirnyi carried the flag of Belarus at the Opening Ceremony on 27 July 2012, and won the gold medal in the Mixed Doubles with Victoria Azarenka on 5 August 2012.
