Inspired by Kara Walker, "Goodbye 2016" depicts a few events and issues from this Year. (Like the Olympics, Police Brutality, Lifting of the embargo, Gun violence, Climate change, and the Election) The piece was Screen printed first with just black ink, then resized, printed in a marble grey and finally animated.
