This illustrated nursery rhyme announced the birth of my first daughter. The image of her as a baby was recycled when I was invited to design (along with 100 of America and Japan's best designers) a peace poster commemorating the tragic bombing of Hiroshima, an event that occurred just five years before my own birth.
