Precision: Digital Fabrication & Typography
"Digital Fabrication involves new forms of technology designed to create products. Due to the invention of machines such as 3D printers and laser cutters, the profession of the artisan or crafter is becoming less crucial to creating a finished design. Currently, the creation of type relies solely on digital technology rather than the hand crafted letterforms that were originally used in print."
Precision is a weekend long conference focused on the relationship between typography and digital fabrication.
Featured is an informational poster promoting the conference as well as buttons for a wearable item to take home.
