Last year I designed a rustic feeling brand for New Life Christian Church of Anderson.The church resides in a barn and is surrounded by forest. Each summer, the church hosts a youth camp, using their campsite that is behind the grounds. So as I designed the new tee shirts for the youth, this year, I realized I had learned more and felt they needed an update to show the new growth of their congregation. It still uses the rustic feeling that surrounds the church, but is shown in a more simplistic and modern way. The simplistic stance causes the viewer to feel a sense of ease, which should be felt while stepping foot into a church. And I matched that with the new power point designs having a calming slow moving video from nature in the background.
