Museomix Ferrara 2016 - Booklet of Partecipants

Museomix is a 3-days international format that remixes museums. A gathering of mediators, tinkerers, designers, developers, graphic designers, communicators, artists, writers, scientists. A makeathon where to invent, design, prototype and test innovative museum installations with new technologies. In 2016 Museomix took place in 5 countries, 15 cities and 18 different places. And the Museo del Risorgimento e della Resistenza (Ferrara) was among them.
The visual identity of Museomix exists since 2013, when the parisian graphic design advice agency Graphéine has created logo, typography, posters & pictograms (> say WOW! here). In 2015 graphic designers of Pollen Studio starting from the project of their collegues at Graphéin has developed layout templates that each community would be able to customize (> say another WOW! here). In 2016 their "alphabet forms" and kits has been used as guideline by every italian team of Museomix to create the Booklet of Partecipants and other stuff. I've dealt with the graphics needed by the museomixers and the staff who worked in Ferrara's Museo del Risorgimento e della Resistenza. It was amazing.

As learnt from Pollen Studio, geometrical form+photo is the winning recipe.
It's also known that Giuseppe Garibaldi, the father of Risorgimento, is the uncontested symbol of the Museum. The Museum itself is located next to the famous Palazzo Diamanti, which is typified by its marble blocks carved to represent diamonds. So a rhombus - and its semplification into a minimalistic arrow - would have summarized perfectly all the above-mentioned features.
Let's read the booklet! (> Find out it HERE!)
