Character design and illustration for Label Expo 2012
Label Expo, the world's leading expo for the print industry, this year held in China, required a series of illustrations that depicted all the things that can go wrong in the industry and how companies can work more efficiently.
I worked with Tarsus group to come up with a narrative including a number of gremlins, each responsible for screwing up a printing press in various real-world ways. The story follows a number of gremlins from causing havoc in the industry to being brought to justice for their crimes against print. The story unfolds in a staggered campaign across industry journals, event posters, marketing, websites and newsletters.
