Let's Merienda! Nabisco Shopper Marketing Program

Let's Merienda! - Nabisco Shopper Marketing Program
Given the success of Turn Up the Yum! Nabisco decided to expand the program to incorporate more tactics for a wider reach. Strategically it made sense to change the name to a more Latino-inspired name. Let's Merienda is an evergreen retail program that focuses in the social occasion of Merienda (a fourth meal) that is a common tradition in most Latin American countries. This tradition fits perfectly with the Nabisco brands and allows for broader integration including Pinterest, retail, and influencer programs.
Look and Feel
Key Visual
Let’s Merienda! brings the fun back to snack time helping mom share her cultural traditions (an after-school merienda) with a new Nabisco easy-to-make twist the family is sure to love. A merienda is a late afternoon mini-meal occasion, unique to the Hispanic culture.  It provides the family with a moment to pause, share and enjoy their time together over tasty treats. The photography captures the joyous emotion of this unique occasion and includes Nabisco dishes as the hero. The logo lock-up reflects the fun of the occasion. The vibrant colors capture the warmth of the season and richness of the culture.

Influencer Program - Pati Jinich
Worked with Pati Jinich, award-winning Mexican-American chef and TV personality, to create authentic new recipes that resonate with the Merienda theme. These recipes are featured in both Pati's social media outlets and Nabisco's Pinterest and  Snackworks.com for a wider reach. TV segments were created as well as part of this program.
