The Kansas Learning Center for Health, located in Halstead, Kansas, is an interactive exhibit where kids and young adults can learn about the human body. Guests can walk around the exhibit hall or enroll in classes and programs to learn about more specific bodily functions and healthy practices.
GOALS: Create an interactive app to guide individuals and school groups through the exhibit hall. The client wanted something that encouraged kids/students to read and learn more about each of the fun exhibit pieces they were playing with.
SOLUTION: An online quiz called "Health Quest" was created to allow guests to either use the provided devices or their personal devices to go through the exhibit. Roxie and Blaze are the adventurous friends created to help kids explore the body and interact with the exhibits at the center. As guests go through the exhibit hall, they click on the map tile of the corresponding body part and Roxie and Blaze ask them questions.
