Taking the form of painting, 3D installation, and performance, my project is not merely a showcase but an expedition of understanding existence. The artistic experiment aims to look into the possibility to capture the very essence of being as well as the state of mind to interact with the mysterious subconscious.
The discarded things from each city carry its own characteristic. No one precisely knows what kind of objects can be found in the local area today. When the materials are eventually collected by me, an internal process will evolve from the chaos. Art will swim through the mind and the substances then blossom into a representation. The fluid manifestation will grow differently according to the designated location. Inspired by the origin, the outcome shows a glance of the complex yet abstract realm of the heart; it is an interplay between the conscious and subconscious landscape.
The organically exhibition reveals a glimpse of the unique relationship of life, art, and, self. The trinity is inseparable. Art transcends through self while life is awakening self. Self creates art while art is expressing life. Life inspires art while self is living life. The connection is ever growing. In time, ART will merge with SELF and gracefully flows through LIFE.
