Patterns under microscope
Patterns under microscope is an art project, which explores the abstract beauty of the microscopic world. It began in September 2016 and lasted for about thirteen months. Microscope was used for artistic creation in this project. We did considerable amount of experiments during that time and captured a large number of images and videos.
All these images were captured by accident. Before doing experiments, everything was unpredictable, so I always had a tremendous air of expectancy of the result. Some experiments happened in a split second, while others took a long time.
By doing experiments and observing, we gradually found the microscopic world was really unique and magnificent for more than just its beauty.
