This series of images shows off the naked body in a way that highlights specific body parts to illustrate their uniqueness. The lighting was a key aspect in this project. It was imperative to ensure that the glow of the bulb illuminated the area of the body I wanted to photograph. With the positioning of the models I wanted to capture the idea that we are not just made up of skin and bones but of beautiful lines and unique curves. By using both sexes I wanted to emphasize that no matter one’s gender, everyone has beautiful features. All the images are parts of ourselves we see everyday, however with the positioning of my camera I made it so some parts are not as obvious to the eye, giving off the idea that our bodies our landscapes rather than just flesh and bones. If these photos have a mission, it is this: to make one appreciate the body, whether a man or woman, and encourage people take a closer look at their natural, unique, divine, and enduring body…N.U.D.E.
