On a paintball marker, the air tank assembly bolts directly to the bottom of the handle. Because of this, the air tank protrudes back and gives the marker a heavy rear feel. The Drop-Forward is the common solution to this problem. The Drop-Forward bolts to the bottom of the handle on the paintball marker and then to the top of the air tank assembly.
