O nome do Festival Dilúvio veio da ideia de inundar Belo Horizonte de arte e cultura, fomentando principalmente a produção local. O evento contou com uma extensa programação incluindo performances, live painting, instalações artísticas e mais de doze horas de shows com bandas e DJs da cidade.

The name of the Festival Dilúvio comes from the idea of "flooding" Belo Horizonte with art and culture. The festival's lineup included performances, live painting, artistic installations and more than twelve hours of concerts with local bands and DJs.
O festival ocorreu na Serraria Souza Pinto, galpão localizado no baixo centro, pólo cultural de Belo Horizonte. Inspirado pela gravura A Grande Onda de Kanagawa, do artista Katsushika Hokusai, procurei trazer a dinâmica da festa para a ilustração. Escolhi monumentos e edifícios icônicos da cidade, que se localizam nos arredores da Serraria para serem inundados pelas águas culturais do festival, mostrando a região onde a festa aconteceriria.

The festival took place in Serraria Souza Pinto, a building located in downtown Belo Horizonte, a cultural hub of the city. I tried to show the dynamics of the party in the illustration, which was inspired by Katsushika Hokusai's painting, "Kanagawa's Great Wave". I chose some of the city's iconic monuments and buildings, which are located on the surroundings of the Serraria to be flooded by the cultural waters of the festival, giving a hint about where the party would be.
