Opyce: A company’s first half-century
Morillas recently collaborated with the company, Opyce, in the creation of a brand and a book to commemorate its 50th birthday. The book presents a compilation of the people, projects, anecdotes and experiences belonging to this consolidated electrical services company from Vallés that enjoys great recognition in the sector. With a layout organized by decade, from the creation of the Electric Projects and Calculations Office in 1959, and later constitution of OPYCE by its founders in 1962, until the present day.
Old documents and electrical components, plans, projects, and curious photographs offering an intimate glance at the founders and employees, are among the images that tell this story. With the aim of attaining a homogenous discourse, these were retouched, enhancing them with a differential element, which was both antique and modern, but did not sacrifice one iota of the charm of the originals. This book, which served as a gift to collaborators, friends and clients, constitutes a testament to 50 years of hard work well done. Congratulations Opyce!
