USTA ART..

A beautiful art practiced by the artisans of BIKANER.. This art was previously done on walls and ceilings but later to make this art portable it started to be done on products made from camel hide..

USTA means USTAAD. They are the "masters" trying hard and working even harder to preserve the beauty of their art which is on the verge of dying. 

We should appreciate the craftmanship of every artisan and should try to do our bit..

Usta art uplifted the beauty of the shrine of HAZRAT NIZZAMUDDIN AULIYA DARGAH with its colors and gold embossing done on the walls of dargah. The ceilings of Dargah also carried Usta art but without embossing with floral motifs.

The use of colors and the gold plating done all over the shrine gives it a rich look and make this holy place an "IMMORTAL BEAUTY"..
