Shadow Box

My Shadow Box

(Sorry for the awkward camera work) But this was my shadow box for art culture class. and it has to little boxes stacked on top of one another. The reason i had to boxes was because i wrote on the side of the boxes, what i like and and what i dislike. And im going to show you the items that i put into it.

So for the box itself, i used my very old Blackberry box. because it was one of the phones that i had the longest at the time when i was young. Also, i explained to my peers on how electronics and technology is very important to me as a person.

I added these dim lights to the top and to the bottom of the box to have the lightning affect inside the box itself. And i talked about how we all have that light we have inside of all of us to see the good around.

So for the top of the box i had a rosary and a little picture of me. I put the rosary in my box because i have practiced Christianity since i was born and my parents and bery religious to it. For the picture in the background, i chose it because i love the winter and i think that it is funny how Santa is trying to get my to notice him, but i am to distracted looking at the candy cane.

I did also have these two Elephants in the side. Elephants are my moms favorite animals, i don;t know exactly why she likes them but she thinks they are for good luck. And with that i put them in my box because i thought it would give my good luck presenting my box to the class.

So for the bottom for the bottom of the box. I had my even litte me inside dressed up in some sort of fancy dress shirt. I don't know why i added it to my box, but i thought it was a good look to see how much i have grown as a person.

For the two games on the bottom of the corners. I put those there because i think of myself as a nerd and have always liked to play video games ever since i was a kid.

And for the headphones, i just explained of how i love to listen to music and would always need my headphones where ever i am going in life.
