INTRODUCTION
In my Design Foundation class,we were given a project were we had to use a photograph we took in our Photography class for a "City Shoot" and then create 2 different visual compositions that tell different stories, one being achromatic and the other one chromatic. The challenge here was to investigate the relationship between value, colour and texture in the development of form in order to create meaning (in 2 ways in this case).

CONCLUSION
What I am most proud of in this project is the way I was able to tell 2 different stories and create different moods/atmospheres with an initial image. However if I were to change something,I would have spend a bit more time on the chromatic piece by possibly duplicating the lamp posts in order to make it look more like a forest and I would have made the sky green with more leave/tree-top pattern to use more elements such as patterns and repetition. This was a very fun project because I was able to practice and improve skills such as making collages and we had a lot more freedom to do what we wanted and allowed more chances of demonstrating a person’s creativity rather than technique, even though technique is necessary as well.
