The Weight of the world
We are born into this world we are weight down by people expectation of us. We are molded by our action and the people we surround our self with. Everyone strives to make a life for them self in this world but the weight bears down on our body holding us down to the ground. This weight can either harden us to become stronger or crush us under the immense weight. People are surrounded by stress to become successful in this world. The future is unknown, all we can do is take one step at a time and figure who we are.

The setting I place my shadow box is in space to represent the immerse universe that await us each bright star can be a door to future we can create. The man is made from clay representing that we are soft and can easily mold but once we harden we become like rock. The man is holding up the world on his shoulders representing weight of stress we experience the bills we need to pay, the relationships, and the future we try to create. The bright hard blue lights represent that we are on a spot light from expectation of the people around us, like a ocean engulfing us. While the white light represents the hope, we have trying to become stronger even when we are surrounded by darkness.
