Paperfish at TTDI

A month ago I was approached by a former primary school friend, Elicia, about a business venture that her friends wanted to pursue in ; selling poké food.

Poké is a raw fish salad served as an appetizer in Hawaiian cuisine, and sometimes as an entree. Poke is the Hawaiian verb for "section" or "to slice or cut". Traditional forms are aku (an oily tuna) and he'e ( or octopus). Increasingly popular ahi poke is generally made with yellowfin tuna. Adaptations may feature raw salmon or various shellfish as a main ingredient served raw with the common "poké" seasonings.

Elicia and her business partners wanted a logo that's simple, minimal to details. We only have a few days before nailing down a final logo, so we had to work overtime on the logo design.

We decided and agreed upon the logo shown above. The fish is origami-like to relate to the new business' name. The colour green was chosen to signify the freshness guaranteed in every ingredient that's in their poké dishes.
The menu board for the store is currently undergoing another revamp in terms of menu items update. Window decals and business cards are still on the way, but as for now Paperfish is up and running.
