For this brief, we were tasked with going out and recording audio of any kind of conversation and then animating it. The recording I chose was that of my father reciting an old rhyme he's known for years but never had recorded before so I thought it was something unique to use. The style I chose to work in is cobbled together backgrounds made from photographs of places in Glenamaddy in Galway, where my father grew up. The characters drawn on scribbled pieces of paper also allude to his tendency to use any scrap of paper he finds for notes when on the phone, even if it's important documents. 

These elements together felt right for a very personal piece of animation that accounts for the storyteller in visuals as well as audio, I feel.
