Lauren was inspired to write this song by events she had seen in high school. I then took it from there and wrote ideas about how to portray each line or thought in the song, keeping in mind the overall theme of it. When the draft was finished I sent it over to Lauren to have a look. She approved what I wrote, so I then moved on to storyboarding and shooting the video over a weekend with a great cast and crew.
I then edited the video for her review and got it ready for the web. Overall it was a success. In looking back I know I’d do several things differently, but Lauren loved the video.

I decided not to sketch the storyboard (which I normally would have). This time I decided to look for photos that came close to what I wanted. I did modify a few by sketching part of them.
