In order to promote the insurance and reinsurance industries, Marsh & McLennan Companies (the parent company of Guy Carpenter) joined forces with other major companies in the industry to kickoff the Insurance Careers Movement (ICM). The goal of ICM is to highlight the opportunities provided by the insurance/reinsurance industry in order to encourage millennials to pursue careers in insurance/reinsurance. To amplify their message participating companies took to social media using #CareerTrifecta, signifying that a career in insurance/reinsurance is stable, rewarding, and limitless. Companies were also encouraged to tweet on Tuesdays using #TalentTuesday to draw even more attention to the cause.
