Artist statement: This project I want to focus on up-cycling. After research I realize that, recycling also cause pollution. "Up-cycling as reusing a material without degrading the quality and composition of the material for its next use." For this project, I design a poster to support my idea and display the poster at 4 different places. I made buttons and bookmarks, I gave them to my friends as gift to advertise my idea. I used my old t-shirt as my up-cycling material. I designed patterns to print on my old t-shirt and sewed it to made a little pocket hang on the canvas tote bag which I designed. After up-cycling,the bag becomes more useful.
