Kansas City Art Institute Interactive Timeline.

A mock-up video created in collaboration with Ashley Castillo on our interactive Kansas City Art Institute timeline idea. This timeline would be outside the main office building of KCAI and contain information on social media, the archive, the school's history and future, as well as departmental information for visitors or students. We decided that it would be on a transparent screen so the viewer doesn't become completely separate form the school. The timeline is non-linear in the beginning and linear when moving past the home screen. an earlier version of the homepage. less thematic and cohesive.
an earlier screen capture of a screen within a year.
In addition to being able to click on images within the year bubble clicked, we also wanted to include a sort of index feature. The user can click on the words that are different colors and see all things related to that topic. For instance, the user could click "President" and learn about all the Presidents of KCAI.
