About the Work

Coinciding with the installation of the state-of-the-art LIVE ZOUND acoustic system at CINECITTA' cinema complex in Kanagawa Prefecture, we planned, directed, and produced the brand's visual identity. The LIVE ZOUND characteristics which optimize the acoustics for each screening are expressed through a 'Chladni Figure' motif (*1).

Various sounds overlap, harmonize, and finally become a single piece of music. Simultaneously, each sound's form and expression alters, gradually becoming one larger form. 

The state of each sound and the form that evolves from it being adjusted and becoming a single musical form represents LIVE ZOUND's trial and error articulation and acoustic technology.

*1 Chladni Figure: The phenomenon of sound vibrations producing patterns in physical particles.
