The idea was to illustrate objects using only straight lines in order to create depth. This was achieved by using 3 different pen nibs - 0.1, 0.5 and 1. The name Lifelines only happened as I was working. I realized that while creating these illustrations that there were a lot of similarities to everyday life. Some times the going is real easy and the page starts to fill up almost without effort, but on the other side things don't always go smooth. There were times where I wanted to give up, but as soon as I started to push onward I started seeing the potential in each piece. Essentially this was an exercise in patients which ultimately led to a means of meditation to reach some level of enlightenment.

Each piece is 100cm x 70cm
