During the fall of 2011 and spring of 2012 I created a new user interface and user experience for the Missouri Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support organization housed within the College of Education at the University of Missouri. I worked with staff members to determine the needs of their organization as well as the needs of their users. Their largest concerns being a site that looks nice and works well while loading quickly on older computers and dial-up internet connections, and that the informational materials they produce are easy to access.
The project was developed using a wireframe to test the user's path through the site and determine the best organization method. Several image mockups of the site were created and presented to the client before a final decision on design elements was made and combined into a WordPress theme. With a WordPress backend and detailed documentation the Missouri Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support organization is able to easily add and maintain content on the site.
