TypoSpective is a typographic experiment employing very limited tools on a mobile phone device.

This project is a collection of daily-used words designed in minimalistic and expressive forms. It gives words a space to perform and to interact with the audience, while avoiding visual distractions and complications. The audience is the main player in this project.

Creative perception and mental montage animate the static state of written/drawn words. TypoSpectives invites the viewer to look at words from a different perspective and to see in their written forms new meanings and representations. To see the words move in its stillness and hear their sounds when it’s mute.
