Nox (from the latin word "night") is a corporate building located in Queretaro City, Mexico, whose intelligent architecture allows an advanced control of the incidence of light inside the building, in order to reduce the direct illumination coming from the sun and to improve the visibility in the sunniest periods of the year.
Conceptually, the brand is based on the duality between light and shadows, as well as the balance between them. The logo is constructed using typographic characters made to measure, integrating in the letter "O" an iconic element that semiotically refers to a half moon, which is visually completed by the viewer through the Gestalt law principle of complementarity. This helps to generate a greater pregnancy and remembrance in front of the viewer, as well as the formulation of a unifying visual system throughout the brand applications. Finally, the chromatic range obeys to the black/white duality, based on the concept of presence and absence of light.
