PROBLEM: Create a realistic image using gradient mesh.

SOLUTION: I was inspired by a photo I saw of a platter of gems. I googled a few different images of different gems and used a gradient mesh to recreate the likeness of the gems. I used the gradient meshes that I created as symbols and layered them on top of the platter I illustrated and aded drop shadows to all the gems and the platter to help them to stand out against the background.
